Join us at The Yard Gowanus for Open Studio Weekend with M. Zassenhaus

Visit us this weekend to view the recently opened exhibition--
Solo Works by M. Zassenhaus. 

Zassenhaus will host an art talk (with a splash of wine) on Saturday, October 16, at 3 PM. We will learn about her process for creating works, in particular Black Ocean Works, which are co-created in the ocean itself. Zassenhaus' studio borders the ocean in the Rockaways so she will bring a bit of summer back to us as she builds each work with waves and sand. 

"As an artist, my mediums are water, light, and time. I collaborate with my environment and consider the work a record of a sort of performance" says M. ZASSENHAUS.
